We provide pipes welded in-line with the TIG or high frequency (HF) method. The TIG method guarantees a cleaner joint and, at the same time, a better weld penetration, ensuring an increase in the tightness of the weld. The HF method is a very high-speed welding process and, being a cheaper production method, is the most successfully sold.
The piping is manufactured to dimensions and tolerances according to the material class and American ASME/ASTM standards. The material is mechanically tested to determine yield strength, tensile strength, hardness and elongation. It is available both welded and seamless and it is used in the petroleum and chemical industry, naval shipbuilding and plant engineering, electricity, nuclear power, biotechnology, machinery, boilers, etc.
Rolled profiles are obtained by means of a hot or cold mechanical rolling process. The surface has an opaque and porous appearance that is more irregular compared to drawn and rectified profiles. They are used for the manufacture of structural elements and for special mechanical processing.
Sheared profiles originate from sheet metal cut with a machine known as a ‘shear’. This product generally has micro-scratches that can be seen at the edge, which may be slightly flattened or rounded due to the pressure of the knives cutting it. This method produces mainly plates of small dimensions and thicknesses. The are available in Aisi 304 and 316 types, and as with iron sheet metal we supply:
flat, round, square, angular, L and T shapes.
